Thank you. I still have the other side of the garden to do. There's not as much work involved ( hopefully) but I have no concrete plans yet so I'm going to take a week off to think about it. 😂😂😂
The pond was dug, hit rock then after consultation I was told to fill it in again. A water feature was ordered online. However upon arrival it did not meet my wife's expectations so it was send back. Another hole was then dug about a foot to the left of the previous one. I still hit rock. 😭 So things have now come to a standstill whilst she makes her mind up. 🙄🙄🙄🙄

At least you now know where not to dig the hole to bury her body 😉 I took it easy in the garden today. She doesn't usually let me use my birthday as excuse. I wonder what she's up to?

Just over 26 years ago I acquired the best gift ever, a gardener.
Mrs N had had an operation on her back and I had to do everything in the house as well as travelling from Manchester to Hull every day. When I took early retirement I just couldn't let the gardener go. We’ve only had one change of gardener in all that time.
