We arrived in Benalmadena with a list of places to visit, including Malaga, Rincon de la Victoria, Arroyo and Torremolinos. However when we arrived the weather was absolutely fabulous and we had 5 days of sunshine on Playa Paco! Saved a fortune! We did experience the fog (as mentioned in another thread) which didn't clear all day but the following day was good. Also mentioned on the Forum recently has been the debris on the beach. Gone!! The Local Authority were pretty efficient in clearing it.
To those of you interested in the plot next to Restaurant OK there has been no progress whatsoever and it does spoil the area.
We had a great Rock 'n' Roll night out in Sunset Beach with Ricky Lavazza and Revival Band. Super participative audience.
Favourite eatery was Saint Tropez on the Paseo, a bonus as it's usually closed at this time of year. Nice evenings in Potter's Lodge and Meson de la Cordobesa (Naciones block).
Met up with acquaintances from previous visits which is always a pleasure as they are such lovely people.
Ending our trip at Malaga Airport was a downer! Chaos at the departure gate with long suffering queues being moved from one line to another. After over an hour many of those who paid for speedy boarding were last to board!! Lots of moaning unsurprisingly.
Well as you can see all those plans will have to wait until the next time!

not bad for early Feb..
we leave Benal June 3rd so will give ourselves plenty of extra time to get through crowds..
we never know what we are doing on any day, unless we have plans to meet friends, most times we leave apt and say "shall we turn left or right" 
plus I did climb San Miguel steps
