So, we've been coming to Benalmadena for nearly 20 years but have never visited the Pueblo. We're planning on doing so in a few weeks time when we're out for a few days without the kids. I'd love to hear any tips and recommendations you have.
Also, where do we get off the bus?

Nicke Shame on you 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣. Benalmadena Is the Pueblo.
Get any 103, 112, 121 or 126 bus.
Go through the Pueblo and get off at the Stupa. You can't miss it. Big white temple with a gold hat. The bus stops opposite the Butterfly park so you could kill two birds with one stone.
Have a walk around there and admire the building and the views over the coast. Then walk back to the main road and turn right towards the village. Walk for 10 mins and you're there. Turn right at the traffic lights downhill and you'll find a few bars on the left hand side and the Bull bar on the right. Keep going downhill. Bar Chorrilo is on the left as is a lift in the small car park which we'll come back to later. On your right and across the small park is a beautiful restaurant called La Perla. Keep going downhill for another 10 mins and Castillo Calomares is on the left. Another opportunity to get your camera out. Back up the hill to the lift. Up in the lift to the church, more pictures 😂. El Muro restaurant opposite the lift is also very good and has wonderful views from the rear terrace. To the left of the church and in the gardens below it you'll find La Cupula Lounge. More pics and maybe a drink or two. Then back towards the lift but walk on past it down the narrow street called Calle Santo Domingo. This will bring you to the heart of the village at Plaza Espana. Another four wonderful restaurants to choose from for another drink and some people watching. The statue in the centre is La Nina who is celebrating her 51 st birthday and is the emblem of Benalmadena
Once finished in the Square stagger into Calle Real at the side of La, Nina restaurant and follow it.
Yet another beautiful bar on your right is La Cepa. Might as well have another rest here. G&ts are very good. On to the end of the street and you're on the main road through the village. Plaza de Andalucia is the little square surrounded by palm trees on the right near the end of this street. As you enter the main road the Town Hall is on your left. Turn right. Another few bars on the left along with the museum. Keep on going to bar Coral where you can have a farewell drink before heading back Down the coast. You'll find a taxi rank little further on the left and a bus stop just past the taxis on the other side of the road for a bus back if you choose that option.
Please be aware that we Will expect some photos as proof of your adventure. 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 There are also many numerous other bars and restaurants that I have not mentioned that are also worth a visit.
Also some places and attractions close on Mondays and Tuesdays so those are not the best days to visit.

So 2 things. 1: Obviously this trip never worked out thanks to Covid. 2: We're coming back in August and I came here this morning to find out about the Pueblo, found this thread and then realised I posted it two years ago!! Thanks again Robert - that's compound interest for you! Can't wait to be back in Benal with the family and we'll definitely be heading up for a day in and around the Pueblo.

Enjoy your trip and we'll still be expecting photos 🤣
By the way the Pueblo celebrates the Feria in August, around the 15th. 👍

We made it! First time up to the Pueblo and we'll definitely go back! Got off the bus just at the stop after the Bull Ring, walked down to Castillo Colomares, which was stunning. Back up to lift, little look around the church area and then lunch at El Muro looking out at the amazing view, then a lovely walk through the streets and a drink before catching the bus back down. It was baking hot!! As requested, a selection of photos as proof
