The weekly Friday Market opens tomorrow with 50 % of the stalls and social distancing in place ( somehow).

Not sure how they picked 50% of the stalls ? we are going to take a walk up, there are not many folks around in stores, bars café shops etc, so will be nice to see if the locals come down from the hills to the market..but any crowds and we will not enter, there is still unease with us all that Covid is still around, so not testing the water..
The Butterfly Park also opens on Friday so more sign of life, but again with so many safety measure to be met, not many folks here, it will be hard to make any profit.
We are heading home early next month from Gib, so trying to spend a few euro's here everywhere we can..
Stay Safe..x

Interesting to hear how it goes, Rose. I equate going to the market to a ride on the dodgems.

Interesting about the butterfly park opening. The pathways are so narrow. I wonder how they will organise it?

We enjoyed our stroll around the market, maybe 40% of stalls there, all distance measures in place although not needed, also 2 security guards around, we spread our purchases around as many stall as possible, think more stalls may be there this week, it did get a good attendance..x
