My apologies for what may appear to be my insensitivity. I posted on the forum this morning before clicking on to the news and read about the horrific explosion in Beirut. Absolutely awful and I hope no-one has been affected, either directly or indirectly. BT. Hi B.T its sad news, don't know how they were allowed to 'store' such toxic material, 100 dead 4000 injured and still 100 people missing and British among them..
My family all home now and well... had facetime chat yesterday Kent was bathed in sunshine, but dull here in West Mid's..
Hope your Daughter continues to enjoy her stay, I did see temps down from 40c to 28c, but with warm winds I just couldn't cope, we love about 24c nice to walk in..
You are well into your quarantine now, so stay safe and enjoy your garden...xx
Is anyone this month going out to Benal, I know Robert mentioned a visit, not sure if quarantine rules will stop folks going now.. x

All our Benal plans on hold for the rest of this year. Even had to cancel a forthcoming break in Scotland as we are part of the unclean of Greater Manchester.

So sorry to read that Neil. One of our daughters is in Benal and she's described things as "heartbreaking", with so few people about and restaurants closing early due to lack of customers. That's if they opened in the first place. Hope you manage to get away this summer. No word from Robert....?? Rosebush.....I'm even getting bored with the garden!! Kind regards, stay safe, BT.

I'm still here 😂 and still undecided what to do. My wife's work will pay her during quarantine as the trip was booked prior to Covid. My Tesco contract terminates in three weeks with no word of any extention. I started my own work three weeks ago so I teach two days and work the other five in Tesco so I feel I need a break 😂. The other family members are up for travelling, I'm the one that's having doubts due to the quarantine. If I go to Spain I won't be able to work for two weeks on return but then again would I really lose a lot as the DVA are still not accepting bookings for driving tests.
I'm not worrying about going to Benalmadena as I'd be quite comfortable with the situation there.
Decisions Decisions. 😂😂😂😂

My family were as undecided as you are Robert and left it until the very last minute before deciding to go! Four hours before the flight! She sent me a few photos of Bonanza Square today.....empty chairs apart from the three of them. So sad. We are due to fly out on the 1st September and have every intention of going. Got to go to the Town Hall and pay some bills before we are denounced! Hope you make the right decision for you all Robert................ Baking down here in Essex where it's hotter than Benal (for one day only!!) Painful watching the cricket! Fond regards to all, keep cool, keep safe. BT.

Our daughter tried to change her easy-jet flight as her employer has told her that she will not be paid if she goes into quarantine upon return from Spain. In addition to her original fare, easy-jet wanted another £200. She would rather lose the original fare payment and sadly doesn't see herself going to Benal this year. And she loves it.............❤❤ There aren't too many advantages to being retired but quarantine comes fairly easily! My husband has been practising for years!! Fond regards to all, BT.
