Well it would seem I am up and running now - so I'll try again .......
It's so sad that the forum is so quiet at present but I suppose if it's not Covid related there's nothing much else to write about (and we are all sick of that aren't we?). I look forward to our usual stay in CdS over winter, if it happens. We've already had our EasyJet flights cancelled (refund received - thank you). We've now booked with good old Ryanair. Our booked apartment is ready and waiting for us, so we are trying to stay positive. Only 85 sleeps. If we have to spend 14 days in quarantine when we get there then so be it. We are still coming, unless all flights are cancelled of course. There's always shopping online and a nice balcony where we can enjoy a slurp or two in the sun. Quarantine when we get home - not a problem, one of the joys of being retired I suppose. So come on everybody - let us know what you are up to - keep our chins up and our wonderful forum going. We are all here for each other.
It would be great to hear from some of our members who are already there, either living there or on holiday at present. Let us know you are enjoying yourselves. Now where would you rather be - it's a no brainer for me.

and hard to find Ins for more than 90 days..but i am looking.. 
staying until Xmas, she is 79.... eight years my senior but she has so much energy, we call her a recycled teenager, such a lovely lady, she used to run a pub down south with her late hubby, the Kray twins along with many other known gangsters used to call in the pub for a drink 
she has so many stories to tell, has a heart of gold, does loads for charity, she has a scooter to get all along the paseo, takes taxi's up to Arroyo, Bonanza area for quizzes, and enjoys cocktails most evenings in Buddy's bar, Shane the owner will see her safely round to her apt when bar closes..
