Our flight to Malaga on June 7th with easyJet has been cancelled. Disappointed but not surprised. Our housekeeper was in our apartment today to do a spring clean too!! May have to ask him to do an autumn clean! Fond regards to all with thanks to those of you who have sent me private messages. They are very much appreciated. BT.

@ BT Roll it over a couple off weeks! Or alternatively swap for voucher...I just received a voucher for May flights that were cancelled a while ago and EasyJet have added a bonus;
"We are glad to inform you that for a limited time we are offering an additional amount to any customers willing to support us by accepting a Flight Voucher. The amount is GBP 20.00 and is added to your original booking value."
My flight for 22nd June with EasyJet is still on sale. About 100 seats have been allocated plus passengers like me who haven't booked seats. Everything crossed.
I had hoped Spain would be as welcoming as Portugal appears to be.. time yet.

Thanks Chawky! We just keep rolling our flights over for no extra charge. Whilst desperate to return I am wary about queues at UK airports, mainly because I can stand for only about an hour before my back goes into spasm! They'd have to cart me out on a trolley!! Hope all goes well for you in June. Fond regards, BT.

Sorry your flights have been cancelled B.T but think the queues at airports are long now, if you go next month can you ask for airport assistance, my friend had too on her return flight, she has a stick but couldn't stand for 3hrs.. Reading on F.B the Brits although welcome to Spain, are causing concern about not having the PCR tests to enter, a lot of ex pats not happy about it, think i would feel the same with the Indian variant not under control here yet, although hopefully most visitors will have had at least 1 vaccine and a lot more will be fully vaccinated, plus its still masks everywhere out there so hope all goes well.. Chawky in a month when you fly things should be a lot more settled and requirements more clearer, i am really looking forward to some daily Benal reports.. B.T hope your dear Mom is home now..xxx

Agree with Rosebush and sincerely hope that travel becomes easier soon. I've been reading about people not being able to board flights because of the wrong paperwork etc; and it all sounds pretty chaotic. Whilst airlines are doing the right thing I am still concerned that airports have not yet got their acts together! Beginning to wonder when we'll get to Benal................... Rosebush, thanks for asking about my Mum! Still in hospital sadly. Eldest daughter went to visit her and fell down hospital steps on way out, spraining an ankle and unable to drive. Mum in a ward on first floor, her granddaughter downstairs in A&E!!!!!!! Next instalment............??!! Take care and keep safe all. Don't forget to keep us updated Chawky! Fond regards, BT. X
