Dear all,
Hoping another owner can assist me!
I need to pay a tax in Benalmadena (just for a change!) and my Fiscal Rep needs the Catastral Value of our property. However, being stranded in Essex I haven't a clue how to find out! All of our official correspondence is in Benal. I haven't felt so impotent for a very long time!
Any advice will be gratefully received!

I guess this is for non-resident tax ? I go to the offices in Arroyo fro my IBI receipts - it is one of my jobs during my forthcoming visit. The tax for 2020 isn't due until the end of the year so time for you yet. On a similar post Robert gets the necessary from his Spanish bank via internet banking I believe.

Thank you Chawky! Unfortunately our bank (Caixa) has removed our ID and Log-in and have told us to visit the branch to update/renew it!!!
We wanted to get it done early for personal reasons. I will discuss further with our Fiscal rep who always gets it paid for us.

Yes another of my jobs... my Spanish SIM card has stopped working...so I can't receive texts for auth code from my Spanish bank.... I suspect the value hasn't changed...I'm sure my gestor calculated my 2019 tax before I sent the IBI receipts.

The email for obtaining your Valor Castral if you need it is ,recaudacion@benalmadena.es
recaudacion@benalmadena.es.
I had to email them twice but they were pretty quick to answer my second mail so perhaps the first one didn't get through.
They'll email you a PDF copy of your IBi schedule of payments and when they are due. Pass it on to your rep.

Many thanks Robert! Email is being constructed today and I will let you know if I get a reply! Hope Chawky arrived okay and is enjoying a relatively quiet Benal!
Rosebush, hope you and your husband are keeping well.
If anyone who would normally holiday in Benal has chosen a staycation this year, it would be nice to hear where you went and what your experience was!

Hi Mags,
I followed Robert's advice earlier this year and after emailing the Town Hall twice received all I needed. All fully paid now up thank goodness!
