We were in Malaga a few weeks ago and they were just starting to erect the Christmas lights in Calle Larios. As well as Calle Larios there will be light displays along the Alameda Principal and in Calle Granada and Calle San Juan. There will also be FIVE large Christmas Trees in the city. This year's lights wil be illuminated on Friday 26 November at 18.30 and the design is a winter forest theme which includes giant trees, suns, angels and autumn leaves. The lights be turned on each evening at 18.30 will remain until the 6th Jan 2022. The last evening is Wednesday 5th January.

Thanks for the information Robert! Malaga's lights are fabulous but two years ago I had a panic attack in the crushing crowds! My advice to anyone going is to NOT start where the masses are but to walk up and around the side streets to Constitution Square and nearby side squares. We got much better photos of the lights and other entertainment! Fond regards, BT.
