Has anyone taken the M116 from Arroyo straight through to Malaga, we have travelled using this bus but only to TIO and then walked down to Marina, I know there are only 2 per day as its called the 'University bus' but just checked its timetable and it does go 'all along coast line' from Torre ie Los Alamos etc we thought the scenery would be nice and a change from M110, the afternoon service is about 1.30pm  x |

We haven’t used it Rose, but it doesn’t look very exciting as, after leaving La Colina, it joins the M20 motorway and the next stops are around the University before heading to the terminus at the Tech Park both of which are a long way out of Malaga city.

Hi Rosebush! Last year we accidentally took this bus (M116) into Malaga and Neil is absolutely right! We had to walk into Malaga from the bus station behind Maria Zambrano train station. Didn't seem far at the time but it was very hot. Stick to the tried and tested (and very bumpy!) bus directly into Malaga port! And of course this is where you get the bus into Rincon de la Victoria!

Thanks both, think we may take this bus but only into La Colina, then stroll back along the beach road to Torre, taking a stop or 2 at the chiringuito's..  Does the bus route finish in main bus station near M.Zambrano, not sure were the tech park is? x |

I will check when we are out there in 4 weeks time (fingers crossed!) but we definitely got off the bus at MZ! I too am not sure where the tech park is. Your plan sounds lovely!! We've never been to the chiringuitos at Torre because I'm too lazy!!😂😂

Thanks B.T..we often walk from Benal along paseo into Torre, then climb the San Miguel steps, walking okay if not hot, but the steps take my breath away, at times have to use the lift  Just checked Benal cams and folks on beach sun bathing.. x |

The tech park lies next to the road to Cartama. The buildings are virtually the last in outer Malaga as you head inland.
