I despair! We've seen people knocking down house martin's nests too. Grrrrr! Mind you, those pesky parakeets................. BT.

Hi Folks.
Not seen any swallows but loads of lady birds last 2 days, swarming around in droves all over our sun roof, went up for our exercise walk, but soon came back down!
Weekend storms did not arrive but it rained all day on Tuesday, although cool we did have a party!! yes a party!! It was our neighbours birthday, so his lovely wife did a small buffet for 6 of us, all put out on table on our front walkway, and in turn keeping 6ft or more distance helped our selves to some lovely food, cava & wine accepted in same way, even had a birthday song, really helped lift our *spirits*..
Each day now we sit out by own apts doors chatting, drinking our coffee's all the men have a beer we wave down to all the folks we know, and have got to know, on their way to shops or dog walking, so just making the most of a bad situation, and keeping safe...
We are however very aware and are saddened by news of deaths and more new cases arising in hospitals here and around the world, and all hoping to see the numbers go down each day and finally reach nil...
We did hear no new cases in Malaga for a few days..
Hope you and your family's are all well..xx

So pleased to hear from you Rosebush! I'm glad that there are some happier moments for you all. The party sounded delightful. There are three of us in our house and we "party" every Saturday evening with other family members on House Party. Daughter and I come up with different (and often completely bizarre!) face masks each Saturday to amuse the family (and ourselves of course!) So far we've made them out of empty gift bags, curtain tie-backs, various packaging material, rain capes and snorkels and shower caps! Ah well................ A cloudy day in Essex for the first time this month. It's so peaceful we can hear nightingales and cuckoos among the other wild birds which we haven't heard in years due to aircraft and traffic noise. Every cloud................ Please keep safe and cheerful everyone. 😎
Fond regards, BT.
