Hi Rosebush, good to hear that money is coming back into the coffers of local businesses. The weather conditions sound far to uncomfortable for our liking which is why we are winter visitors. We will decide in 2/3 months time if we feel confident enough to book a couple of weeks in November. Otherwise Benal will have to wait until early next year for us.
In the meantime we have booked a couple of cottages in Scotland and Cornwall in August and September to help break the monotony.
It will be interesting to see how you get on with Jet2 who are our airline of choice. We joined an independent FB group recently and if people are reporting events honestly they are not winning many friends. Good luck with your repatriation.

hope your dear Mom is doing well at home.. 
but only up to a walk 8am-9am and late evening, although its not been to bad today..but lots more tourist arrived during last 2 weeks so they all love the sun, and B.T I'm sure you are used to the heat as well, the guy who own the apt we rent comes out for 3 weeks in August, so its nice we all love different months to keep all business's ticking over..
