Gracias Neil. That's a good job because we'd need to super glue our grandsons' on otherwise. 🤣

B.T at least you are well stocked x
Robert can just imagine your grandson telling you in his own way 'no to a mask' my grand daughter would never wear a sun hat
Have you booked any flights yet, so much being said about when/if to flight dates, still lots of talks going on here, but only bits being leaked
Take Care..x

B.T my friend Val will be on your flight from Southend, you mentioned she sat with your daughter on a previous flight.. It appears that Sanchez has said all EU countries are welcome from June 21st, and as UK still in EU brits are allowed in, but think 'very cleverly' he's just playing nice guy as he knows UK have a 14day quarantine until June 29th at least, and all non essential travel is banned, no insurance possible etc...so he's knows the brits are not going anywhere yet.. Hope next month from *July 1st* everyone gets to plan their hols over here we are awaiting any snippets of news that flights will be arriving into Malaga airport, if not, we will have to make the long journey home via GIB.. but staying positive..

Getting mixed messages about this.
This is from N332
Spanish borders
President Sanchez has just announced to the presidents of the autonomous communities that Spain’s borders will be open to Schengen Zone citizens (except Portugal) when the state of alarm is over; this next Sunday 21st June.
The date was the 1st of July but the government has decided to bring forward the date.
If this is true the U K is not in the Schengen zone anyway so isn't included.
Our pools are due to open on the 21st.
Also heard that childrens' play areas were due to open from today but haven't been able to confirm it yet.

As you say, Robert, mixed messages. I’d just read that Britain WAS included. No doubt all will become clearer soon.

Public transport is operating a normal schedule ie as it was before Lockdown. Note that masks must be worn on all public transport and anywhere throughout the resort where it is not possible to keep a minimum separation of 1.5mts from other non family members. ( so carry masks at all times) Links for bus / train timetables. play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=es.ctmam.movilplay.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.geoactio.portilloavanzaSwimming pools are due to open on 21st / 22nd June but whether they actually open or not will depend on the community they are in. If they do open there will be restrictions on numbers. For example in our urbanisation we have a choice of 4 pools that we can use. From the 21st we have been allocated a particular pool so we can only use that pool and not any of the others. There are no real time restrictions for us as it normally doesn't get that busy even in the height of summer. Pools open at 11am and close at 9pm. We will be allocated coloured cards for the oool and each pool will have a different colour card.

Robert pleased your pools are open this weekend, ours is still closed, but safety measures being sorted now..so maybe it will open Monday 22nd..like all pools will be with restrictions..
B.T your pool was open when we passed today ( mean crawled up the hill its so hot)
More folks on the beach at 5pm by the marina end, you must wear flip flops now before entering and lots of entry points are taped off, but safety measures look good, security guards walking up and down all day...and no LLM..
Its still really hot, cannot remember a June stay here being this hot, yesterday 5.15pm we were on the terrace of Potters Lodge in the shade and temp was 33c should be cooler tomorrow so hopefully we can walk for more than an hour..
Paloma Park also has more chickens now, think word got around of free food we even saw 1 rabbit x
Take Care..x

Thanks for the update regarding our complex Rosebush! I'm sure that hill gets steeper every time we visit!!! Wow! Those temperatures! Hope Dave and Karen in Potters are okay!! We often stop on our way DOWN the hill for a glass (or 3) of Cava! Good news about the LLM! BT.
